Prospective employees must have experience in Structural Steel Detailing on a variety of project types. Experience with Xsteel, Tekla Structures, AutoCAD or other automated Steel Detailing software is preferred.

Project Leader….. Assist Project Manager in handling of specific projects from start to finish. Coordinate the Checking Team to ensure Accuracy, Consistency, and Efficiency. Checking as required. Schedule Checkers and monitor progress to meet delivery dates as required. Distribute information and instructions to Checking Team as received from Project Manger. Check drawings for design intent. Follow Client and Pro Draft Detailing Standards. Coordinate and communicate with other Checkers to ensure accuracy and proper fit up. Help Project Coordinator as required in assisting Project Manager with specific requests.

Project Manager….. Main contact with Fabricator, Engineer and General Contractor. Manage and schedule checking team. Oversee RFI process. Attend kick off meetings with the Client. Oversee the implementation of Design changes and write Extras. Attend weekly Project Manager meetings. Ensure projects are on schedule and detailing is accurate.
